Pathfinder bid brings £2.5m for Bristol’s play parks

Young people in Bristol and their families are set to benefit from a £2.5m windfall, thanks to a successful city council bid to the government’s Play Pathfinder initiative. The cash boost will have a massive impact on play parks and spaces across the city over the next three years.  Development proposals include a new adventure play/public space in St Paul’s, more play facilities at the three major play parks at Blaise, Hengrove and Oldbury Court and 28 new or enhanced play areas across the city including improvements to four existing adventure playgrounds.
