Bristol Living Rivers Project - Community - Riverside Walks

Introduction

Crossing the River Trym 2006Bristol Living Rivers has been working with local community and river groups organising walks along Bristol's hidden rivers & streams for the last few years.

This year is no exception. Following the success of the Bristol Living Rivers 2007 riverside walks, the project is currently putting together a series of riverside walks for 2008.

Riverside walks along the River Malago, Brislington Brook, Colliter's Brook and the River Avon New Cut are planned for 2008 and will include informative local history talks whilst following these quiet and sometimes hidden rivers and streams through Bristol's urban jungle.

If you would like to get involved to help organise any of the walks, or have an idea for a new riverside walk, please get in touch with the Project Officer at Bristol Living Rivers on 0117 922 3400.

If you were unable to come along on any of our organised walks in 2007, or have missed the walks that have taken place so far this year, why not explore Bristol's watercourses for yourself by downloading the walk leaflets below.
