From today, businesses can sign up to the Business Challenge!
Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride 2008
You can now register to take part in one of the UK’s biggest free non-competitive cycling events - Bristol’s Biggest Bike Ride.
Now in its 15th year, Bristol’s Biggest Bike Ride is increasingly popular and provides a great chance for people of all ages and abilities to cycle on a traffic free Portway, as well as venture into the beautiful countryside beyond. With a choice of routes ranging from 9 to 38 miles, there is something for everyone.
Registration is free and easy to do:

Once registered for the event, a Rider Information Booklet and an Emergency Contact Information Sticker will be sent to you in early June.
The booklet contains lots of useful information, including start times, important safety information, maps and details of the five routes.
The Emergency Contact Information Sticker is for you to write your emergency contact details on. Rider Information Booklets can be shared, but every rider MUST have an Emergency Contact Information Sticker.
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal for Children
The Evening Post is supporting the Lord Major's Appeal for Children in conjunction with Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride. By donating £1.50 you can help raise money for the appeal which helps under privileged youngsters across the city at Christmas. Those who do this will also receive a voucher that can be exchanged for the Evening Post Biggest Bike Ride souvenir edition published on Monday 23 June 2008.
How to make a donation
In person: Simply take your donation to the Evening Post headquarters in Temple Way or on the day to the Evening Post stand in the organisers' marquee.
By post: Download the rider registration form and send it with a SAE and a cheque/PO made payable to "Bristol News and Media" to Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride, Wendy Best, Evening Post. Temple Way. Bristol. BS99 7HD by Saturday 14 June 2008.
£1.10 from every donation will be given to the Lord Mayors Children Appeal.
